The settings that suit a group in Brazil are different from those that suit a couple. A chartered schooner out of Paraty or Búzios gives a deck, open water and islands in the background, but the skipper decides whether a photographer may come aboard and whether the photographer counts towards the passenger limit, so the boat is booked first. Beach clubs such as those at Jurerê Internacional in Florianópolis set their own rules for outside photographers at their tables, and some sell their own photo packages, so the club is asked in writing when the area is reserved.

Group photographs need more organisation than portraits of two. The organiser receives a short shot list to agree in advance: the whole group, the bride with each friend or small group, the surprise moment if there is one, and a few frames of details such as sashes, matching swimsuits or props. Matching outfits read well in strong sun when they are solid colours rather than fine patterns, and the session is timed for the first or last hour of light, before the group has been on the beach all afternoon. A very large group needs more time and is quoted in writing.

Everyone wants the pictures at once, so the gallery goes out as a single link that the whole group can download from, within 7 days. If the bride is also having a destination wedding in Brazil, the bachelorette session is a separate booking from the engagement and wedding coverage, and the same photographer can be asked for both. Video, drone shots and a longer session can be added, each quoted in writing before booking.
