Social media content creation
Social media content creation in Brazil is a two-hour shoot that produces both photographs and vertical video, priced from $400 for 20 edited photos and 6 edited vertical clips delivered within 7 days. It is made for accounts rather than albums: a creator documenting a trip, a pousada in Trancoso or Paraty that needs fresh posts, a restaurant in São Paulo launching a menu, a swimwear label shooting a collection on the sand in Florianópolis. One person shoots both formats in the same session, so the photos and the clips share light, outfits and locations.

The session starts from a shot list agreed before the day, built around the account it serves and what that account sells. A pousada needs the pool at opening time, a room in morning light and a caipirinha being made at the bar; a creator needs transitions, walking shots and frames with space for text. The clips are filmed and edited vertically for reels, stories and short-video feeds, and each arrives with licensed music or with clean audio so you can add a sound inside the app. A commercial hit is never included, because the right to use it in a branded post is not ours to grant.
Location rules matter more here than for a private photo session, because content for a brand is commercial work. In Rio de Janeiro, Decreto nº 49.283/2021 exempts momentary, small-scale filming in public places — commercial or not — that blocks no traffic or pedestrians, parks no vehicles, sets up no equipment and stays out of the squares, parks and protected areas the city manages; a shoot that needs more requires an authorisation filed at least 7 business days ahead by a Brazilian person or company. In a federal park, ICMBio’s Instrução Normativa nº 12/2025 allows filming without authorisation in places and at hours open to visitors, and using the footage in advertising is a separate image-use question for ICMBio’s communication office. Pousadas and beach clubs set their own rules on filming in shared areas.
This is not personal brand photography, which delivers still portraits for a website and a profile, and it is not a vacation photoshoot, which has no video. If you need one longer film rather than short clips, event videography or a proposal video is the closer fit. Social media content is the right booking when the result is a feed: a set of photos and clips that can be posted over the following weeks without looking as though they all came from one afternoon.
Questions about social media content creation
Who books social media content creation in Brazil?
Social media content creation is booked by creators, pousadas, beach clubs, restaurants, fashion and swimwear labels, and travellers who want reels of a trip: 2 hours of shooting that produce 20 edited photos and 6 vertical clips. Personal brand photography delivers still portraits only, and a vacation photoshoot delivers no video, so neither replaces it.
Do social media clips come with music?
The 6 clips from a social media content session are filmed and edited vertically for reels, stories and short-video feeds, and each arrives either with licensed music or with clean audio, so you can add a sound inside the app. A commercial hit is never included, because the right to use it in a branded post is not ours to grant.
Does shooting social media content on a street in Rio need a permit?
Rio de Janeiro’s Decreto nº 49.283/2021 exempts momentary, small-scale filming in public places, commercial or not, as long as it blocks no traffic or pedestrians, parks no vehicles, sets up no equipment and is not in a square, park or protected area run by the city. A social media content shoot that needs more requires an authorisation filed at least 7 business days ahead by a Brazilian person or company.
Can social media content be filmed in a Brazilian national park?
In a federal conservation unit, ICMBio’s Instrução Normativa nº 12/2025 lets anyone film in places and at hours open to visitors without authorisation, and a free special authorisation covers anything outside them. Using that footage in advertising is a separate question, called image use, that ICMBio’s communication office answers, so raise it before a brand campaign filmed in a national park goes live.
Can a social media content session be filmed inside a pousada or resort?
Filming social media content inside a pousada, resort or beach club in Brazil is the property’s decision: ask whether it allows filming in the pool, restaurant and other shared areas, and whether an outside creator has to be registered. Other guests appear in wide shots, so a content session at a hotel is scheduled for quiet hours and framed to keep strangers out.
